Alex has been playing music for 13 years. He began his musical career on trumpet at the age of 7 and completed his 4th Grade AMEB exam before leaving primary school. In 2006 Alex started learning piano and since then has taught himself bass guitar, guitar and drums. Alex has since studied drums under the tutelege of Rhiannon McWilliam, Matthew Reh and Simon Rigby. Alex has been teaching drums and guitar at Dynamic Rhythms for 4 years.
Alex has played bass guitar in the local band Aimless Uproar and has performed at local events such as the World Vision 40 hour famine concert and the Camden Show. Alex is also the Dun player for Team Rhythms African Drumming and is a natural on Djembe. Alex loves most genres of music and is constantly either listening to or playing something.
Alex is currently studying Landscape Architecture at UNSW.
